Also, the actress who plays Donna said in an interview that she plays the good girl, which could be construed as a slip of the tongue in such a mystery story. I saw Blue Velvet for the first time this week, and was quite surprised at the upbeat ending. 'Dune' also ended on a high note, so if you like happy endings like I do, I'd guess we're in for another optimistic ending from Lynch. (Not that he wrote Dune; but there's lots of ways he could have ended that movie and still been true to Herbert's book) ++dale
