Subject: Missing Audio Information

I just reviewed my tape of episode 0 (the movie) to check this out and
here's what I see:

1. Body >is< face down, and being smart, Pete doesn't touch it.  He
might have not known who it was from his quick glance at her plastic
covered back.

2. We don't hear all of the phone conversation.  We hear Pete talk to
Lucy, Lucy talk to Harry, and then Pete says, "She's dead!  Wrapped in
plastic!"  Then (here's the important part you missed) we see Harry and
he says to slow down, wait a minute.  Pete says something we don't
hear.  Harry says "Where?" Pete says something else we don't hear.
Harry says he'll be over and leaves.

3. I think Pete explained who he thought it was and then where it was.
This makes Harry's actions totally normal.

This brings up two more points:

At the end of episode 1, Dr. J is listening to the tapes and we hear it
just fine 'til he puts on his headphones.

At the end of episode 2, we hear everything fine except whatever Laura
whispered to Cooper, which apparently told him who the killer was.

It's true that we get a different batch of information than the
characters because of our broader view, but we don't always get >more<
information.
