Someone asked about that line in the dream sequence "the gum you
liked..." Here's a guess (thanks to whoever posted that listing of
the text). The stuff in square brackets is my concocting:

	Dwarf:	I've got good news.
		That gum you like is going to come back in style.

	[P.K.s = Peaks]

		She's my cousin.

		But doesn't she look almost exactly like
		Laura Palmer?

	[looks exactly like = Twin]

	Cooper: But, it is Laura Palmer.
		Are you Laura Palmer?

	Laura: I feel like I know her, but sometimes my arms bend back.

	[= ??]

	Dwarf:	She's filled with secrets

	[= Twin Peaks is filled with secrets but some word?]

		Where we're from, the birds sing a pretty song
		And there's always music in the air.

	[= dreamy music in many sequences about town life?]

If I were just looking for something general I would say that the
girl represent the town telling its secrets to Cooper. But if there
is a code here, the backwards-as-forwards dialogue suggests that the
message should be read backwards (?..secrets?..?..Twin..Peaks). But this
may all be reaching into nothing. When you start reading parts of the show
at this level its hard to stop reading it all this way! This is not, after
all, James Joyce. Stop me before I guess again!
