In consultation with Dr. David Cook (author of Narrative Hist. of Film), we determined that both the acting and dialogue must have been conducted in reverse during the dream sequence. This was blatently obvious, but the point is -- was this to delineate this sequence merely as dream? Does this correspond with Lynchs vision a la Blue Velvet? Is reality a dream -- the world is so strange, says Laura Dern. Were the killers revealed in the dream or in the woodlands sequence (bottles/ rock)? What was the flash of blood at the beginning of the ending dream sequence -- Laura's blood/ killer's? Huck
