The idea that there may be more than one necklace is intriguing, but if I'm not
mistaken, in the flashback scene in which Laura gave half a heart to James
Hurley, she separated the heart thing into two pieces before doing so.  

Also (a nit, but maybe not) the heart pieces were not separated down the middle
as shown above, but (I think) in a jagged line fashion so that the separating
edge of each piece looked like a mountain range... each having a... peak?  :-?

BTW, on a totally unrelated topic, was I the only one in the country who
thought that the bloody rag, when first displayed, had been folded in a
somehwat, um, provocative configuration?
