Subject: Fight at the Roadhouse From: 00549cjw@msu.bitnet.UUCP Date: 1990-08-27, 01:06 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks What is the significance of Ed's claim that someone spiked his drink at the Roadhouse? Who would have done it, and what would they have gained from it? No one really knew he would be there except Norma, and certainly no one knew se there would be a fight at that particular moment. He says that Jacques was working the bar that night, but careful examination of the tape shows a couple of other bartenders, but no Jacques. There's also an interesting flub in the editing in the Roadhouse scene. After the fight starts, Joey helps Donna out the back way, with one of the bartenders ushering them along behind the bar to the back door. They get on his bike and leave, with Harry and Dale following "discreetly". Eventually the scene returns to the bar, with a long shot showing the fight still going on. However, in the background, if you look quickly, you can see Joey and Donna being assisted along behind the bar a second time!
