But think about this: 1) the dream cousin kisses Cooper, and Audrey lusts for Cooper. 2) at the diner, Audrey says "there were some things about Laura I didn't like..." 3) the dwarf comes from the place where the birds sing a pretty song, perhaps norway, and is Jerry, Audrey's cousin. I think that there might have been some daughter swapping going on between Leland and Ben Horne, which Audrey discovered while walking in the walls... nah. Actually, Audrey was killed, and Laura is impersonating Audrey. (Well, so how did they manage to alter Audrey's body to look like Laura's, anyway? a small problem..) I think that incest is much more deeply rooted in TP than we have been shown so far.
