I thought the music MF> she danced to was really odd, off in a strange way. The music is NOT backwards, for chrissakes. It is just some synth spiel that Angelo babe cooked up. Maybe it sounds odd compared to the incidental music in "Golden Girls," I don't know. I read a little snippet in the paper the other day quoting from an interview with Lynch. He said that he is from the "Western Union" school of filmmaking: if he wants to send a message, he'll do it with a telegram. He disclaimed all intentional symbolism in "Wild at Heart." I think he's telling the truth. Lynch makes shit that looks good. If you think it means something, that's YOUR problem. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ | Len Saaf, The Institute of Optics, Univ. of Rochester, Rochester, NY | | Internet: saaf@joker.optics.rochester.edu Bitnet: SAAF@UOROPT | ------------------------------------------------------------------------
