Hi, sometimes in the audio editing process, to save some time and energy,
the mixer will use a limiter or compressor that features "auto-ducking".
This allows that them to ride one level (voices) and control that with the
level of the background music. It's used in radio alot.. can be very annoying
if it's over done. Also, your local station could be compressing the daylights
out of the sound, would'nt be the first time..
