Last night I noticed something relating to this that says
sometimes it DOES pay to keep a sharp eye peeled for trivia.

Remember the stuffed squirrel I mentioned that's on Ben's
desk?  In a photo that my wife took of Leo's living room,
showing the still-broken window that he was shot through,
the picture shows a ceramic squirrel on the TV that's nearly
a twin of Ben's stuffed squirrel.  My interpretation is that
these 2 squirrels were deliberate plants that might have served
as clues VERY early in the series to signify the connection
between Ben & Leo. It just takes a razor sharp eye to spot them.
Maybe also a razor sharp brain to distinguish the squirrels from
the red herring.

BTW, broken glass from the window was still lying on the TV
when we saw the set.  When they shot that scene, they DID shoot
through the window.  The projectile wasn't a normal bullet, but
it wasn't a blank either.
