Or is he covering something up with > > Mike? I think that the reason that Bobby is so surprised to see Leo's truck in the morning with Shelly is because he does think that Leo is in Butte. It is possible that he saw Leo on the night of Laura's murder before Leo left for Butte. However, you may find more of an answer in future episodes....I'm not sure what has been shown yet....but, isn't it possible that Leo lied to Shelly about being in Butte. He probably wouldn't have been able to be back in Twin Peaks by morning, if that was where he really was.
