This thing always reminded me of the bloody rag which Hawk found on the railroad tracks near the infamous boxcar. Maybe I thought of it because of one of the flashing images at the beginning of the dream: a bloody altar-sort of deal from the boxcar (?). Anyway, one of those confused images brought the rag to mind. It doesn't look to me like Texas at all; it looks rectangular (or parallelogrammatical (?)). It has a weird shape on the TV screen because it's being projected onto the wavy curtains. Oops, I mean drapes.
