The actor who plays Leland Palmer was in the first episode of Beauty
and the Beast which began running on the Family Cable Network Friday
9/7 (Formerly CBN).  He plays Catherine's rich, boorish boyfriend
who she dumps after meeting Vincent and deciding to put some meaning
into her life.

Sorry, if someone has already mentioned this, but this newsgroup only
appeared here on this machine 2 weeks ago, so there was apparently
a great deal of discussion that took place prior to many of us coming
on board.
