A doctor friend of mine in Seattle said he ran into the actress who plays
Laura at a hospital, apparently she was visiting a friend in the hospital.
He said she was very nice in a down to earth sort of way, talked with him
for a while, and even posed with him for a picture. When I asked him about
her hair color, he described her as a "dirty" blonde. 

A magazine (Sept or Aug Esquire, I think....) picked Laura as the woman of 
the year, and in those pictures she also appears to be a blonde (at least
not a dark brunette like Madelyne).

Of course, this still doesn't prove anything....
