The Twin Peaks soundtrack is out now. I know for sure it's available on tape and CD. If you're interested in it, I suggest you buy now. I got the last one at my local CD store, and the clerk told me they had sold out very quickly. The songs on the Soundtrack are: "Twin Peaks Theme" - music from opening credits "Laura Palmer's Theme" - the very low, sinister music they like to play while showing pine trees "Audrey's Dance" - the goofy, off-key music Audrey dances to in the Great Northern and at Norma's diner "Freshly Squeezed" - a variation on Audrey's dance "the Bookhouse Boys" - a jazzier variation on TP music "Night Life in Twin Peaks" "Dance of the Dream man" - the song Michael McDaniel alluded to in his posting (see above) "Love Theme from Twin Peaks" - the music they play when Donna and James make out The other three songs on the album are "Into the Night", "The Nightingale", and "Falling", all of which Julee Cruise sings and are also available on her Warner Bros. album, "Floating into the Night". it's one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. My only complaints: the CD is AAD, the lowest level of CD quality; there are no Icelandic drinking songs! :-) Jeff Abbott ______________________________________________________________________ I want to live in Twin Peaks if I grow up. . . abbott@mobius.aca.mcc.com ________________________________________________________________________
