Subject: Rolling Randomness... From: webster@romulus.rutgers.edu (John Clayton Webster) Date: 1990-09-14, 16:41 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks I might have gotten this out of some Lynch interview, but... it seems like a few things are always present in Lynch films: oA sense of senselessness. Seemingly random happenings, which work subtly into the entire plot (of the film) in a "sum of the parts ain't nowhere equal to the whole". oDirect resemblences to other Lynch films. Seemingly random happenings, which occur subtly in multiple Lynch films, in possibly a "sum of the parts ain't nowhere equal to the whole". Is Lynch just making ONE movie?
