Okay! I've got a pretty good guess based on the little preview
of the season premier that was shown at the end of last week's
re-run.



























We're going to have another dream sequence, guys! Presumably
by Cooper as he lies on the ground unconscious from the shots.

Well, folks, by now it is all but certain that Killer Bob was an
alternate personality of Laura Palmer. Several people have mentioned
the _Secret_Diary_of_Laura_Palmer_ which has her carrying on a
conversation with Bob on the pages. The clincher for me came
when the man in the new dream says:

"Many have seen him, but not his body."

So quite possibly Laura did have a hand in her own death.
