I think the name of who he laid eyes on was a womans name
starting with M. Later in the episode, when Pete is helping
Catherine search for the books, he finds an old yearbook, and
notices a girls picture, and says "I wonder what ever happened 
to Mimsy(?)...". I'm not sure of the name in either case, did
anyone happen to notice if they were the same? Could be a
foreshadowing of a new character who returns to Twin Peaks this
season...

This has been remarked upon. It is unclear at this point whether
this is a significant fact or a continuity error. There are also
differences between the wordings in the tape from the first time
we heard it....
