That is true, to a point. It has not been in any of the previous episodes, but it WILL figure into the new season(see USA Today). Usually I too am not one to rush out and buy something like this, but I had too this time. As far as stuff in the products that ISN'T in the episodes, I think that that info is inconsequential. In the diary I am sure the important parts will be mentioned on the air, while the rest can be descibed as psycho-babble, and an insight into Laura's secret life. But nothing else. As far as the tapes go, the stuff on the Tape, dispersed among the "on-air entries", that was not in the show, is of no real importance, and is just for entertainment and insight's into Cooper's life. So some of the products will be important to the show, while the other 80% is for the enjoyment of the viewer/reader/listener. This nonimportant stuff is of no detriment to the show or the fan(except for your wallet). CHAz -- Charles L.
