Subject: New Season's music

I still have not heard any references/reviews to the this season's music.
I did notice fresh new music clips used (guitar sound played open string)
in addition to the old clips (haunting strings with a low register pedal point
piano strike and the cool jazz passages). I have always thought of the original
music to be so immediately effective and moving but the new clips didn't 
hit me as much. Don't get me wrong as I am and still an avid fan of Julee
Cruise's music. Any thoughts?
