I feel there are too many clues indicating that the giant WAS real. The ring has been mentioned several times. Cooper's assertion that "I am not dreaming" (he's never wrong, right?), and lastly the fact that the giant had to wake Cooper up (remember how he leaned over to check if he was asleep). I just don't see how "dreams" do these things. Seems like Lynch is using every device short of a "swift kick to the head" to show that the Giant is a physical presence. huebner@en.ecn.purdue.edu
