Great scene. Pretty scary stuff - that image of Laura screaming with blood in her teeth is sticking with me. }It would appear that in the Giant's comment, "Three have seen him, yes, }but only one has seen his body -- one known to you," the one is Ronnette }rather than Laura. I agree. I assume the Giant was refering to those who were alive because Laura most definitely had seen BOB. This leaves Cooper, Ronnette and Laura's mother. An intersting assumption on the Giant's part, but the Giant appears to think that he is being *quite* clear. I found the Giant rather interesting. I loved it when he re-appeared and mentioned that he forgot to tell Cooper something. These supernatural-beings-from-another-realm are only human right? :-) I guess this means that the Giant really can't be treated as some sort of a "Greek Chorus", that is he can make mistakes. }Another group of people that will undoubtedly be upset are those who don't }want a large dose of supernatural intruding in the show. Well I kind of like this angle. There is something *very* wrong with Twin Peaks. Cooper is weird enough to deal with it, what about Albert? }First we have the Giant, who not only appears to Cooper in two visions, }but interacts on a physical level (he takes Cooper's ring). I wonder if his voice will appear on Cooper's tape? Also did the Giant's voice fade out at certain points like a signal losing strength? It did here in Columbus. }Then there is Maddy's vision of a blood-stain(?) on the rug. Red herring for Leland? When Leland collapsed at Donna's house I thought that his pose was similar to Maddy's blood stain (?). I wonder if this is forshadowing that the killer will be brought down in Laura's house. }Then Leland's hair turning pure white. [...] Then Donna's radical }personality surgery. Another poster mentioned Donna's hair growth, I wonder if this is intentional (opposed to the idea that the actress just wanted to grow it out), along with the cigarettes and too tight clothing (although I kept expecting two white streaks to appear in her hair as she turns into The Bride of Bob - her personality change was so severe). Other than James though I guess Donna hasn't slipped in front of anyone else in showing this new demeaner and no one else on the show has mentioned the hair growth. I'm not too sure about those sun glasses either... I thought that Maddy having "a signficantly less sweet personality" when wearing the sun glasses was a nice illustration of what Laura must have looked liked when she "wasn't herself". They also *seemed* to affect Donna, but I'm not sure of this because her radical personality change was probably in place already (just a hunch - Maddy seemed to revert when she took the glasses off, Donna didn't). }I *think* we can ignore Major Briggs' vision. Maybe this was to illustrate that not *all* of the visions in Twin Peaks are horrible or sad. (Giant - or whatever he represents - influence?). -- William W.
