I don't agree. The harmonizer placed on his voice served to obscure what would be the most telling part of his howl/laugh; the spaces in between bursts. Was it hhAAAAAhhhAAAAAhhhAAAA, or wwAAAAAwwAAAAwwAAA ? The strength of the effect made the more subtle bits more obscure.
