Is the Giant played by the same actor who portrayed Fidel in "The Witches
of Eastwick"?

I kept waiting for Cooper to say, "But I'm an FBI agent and a coffee drinker,
and I had no parental guidance."

I like to think that Albert brings a wholesome, refreshing breath of
whole-hearted obnoxiousness, untinged by messy sentimentality.  I
*like* having a simple, unambiguous, obnoxious jerk around.

Hawk is my favorite character, after Cooper.  When he said that his
girlfriend was named Shapiro, and a Ph.D. candidate at Brandeis, well,
it was almost too much for me.  I chuckle just thinking about it.
