Just because Piper Laurie plays Catharine does not imply she would
have to play Catharine-disguised-as-somebody-else.
The problem I have with the Catharine-in-disguise theory is that
she would have to view Ben Horne as a potential enemy because (1) He
knew about the hiding place for the ledger [scene where she says ``not
even Pete knows that''] (2) Ben's name on the insurance policy. Thus
running big risk of identification by a bad guy.
