TP can't be based in the "northwestern" corner of the state because the
northwestern corner of the state of Washington borders on Canada and the
*Pacific Ocean*.  It must be the northeastern corner of the state where
the border is with Canada and Idaho.  By the way, the filming for the pilot
(Snoqualmie Falls, etc.) is in North Bend, which is about 40 minutes east
of Seattle on Interstate 90.
