David Lynch did an interesting job playing Cooper's boss Gordon. 
Besides his smirks when he's trying to act serious, I thought he was
fine.  Whose idea was it for him to be on the show anyway?  I know Mark
Frost played a news reporter a few episodes back.  I bet Lynch will be
in a few more episodes, probably even one he will direct (the next one)?
 Is Sheryl Lee leaving the show?  
Also, I'll bet they're going to wrap up the mystery next episode.
