I can't remember what he said EXACTLY, but when Albert was giving the low-down to Cooper and Truman on the autopsy, he mentioned that there was evidence of soap (industrial brand, you can buy it anywhere -- something like that) on the back of Laura's neck. From that, Albert went on to suppose that the killer placed his (or her, to be fair) hand behind Laura's neck as if to kiss her -- and then he demonstrated this motion for Coop and Tru.
