Can you say "forgery"?

It may appear to be a cashier's check drawn on a bank in Tokyo, but why must
we presume that Ben knows anough about Tokyo to know whether or not this
bank even exists.

Ben obviously is very familiar with what cashier's checks look like, but that
doesn't rule out the possibility of a very good forgery.
