Subject: Lamebrain prediction

Making predictions seems to be the thing to do at this time, so I want to
push for mine: Pete. It's not too logical and as far as I can tell, there
are only three things that might support it:

 1) I still think its odd that Pete just popped up at the Great Northern.
    We haven't seen him for awhile, and now that we are told that the 
    murderer is at the Great Northern, guess who whirls around with the
    words, "The King and I!"

 2) He did find the body. At some point, Frost claimed that it was obvious
    who killed Laura Palmer just from the pilot.

 3) He has been around for some time.

Like I said, it doesn't make too much sense and I would be happy if it turns
out to be false. But it just seems like the thing they would do if they wanted
to give viewers a real surprise. Which is not necessarily a good thing.

If I turn out to be right, send me lots of money.
