I think the poster said that train patrons often stayed there? Maybe this song was pointing at BOB in the Great Northern hotel? Maybe I'm stretching things to an absurd degree? :) I have always thought that whether Leland did it himself or not, he had some knowledge of BOB and what might have happened to Laura. Hey!
