The shades enhanced it. "I'm pretty sure" that this was a reference to Spuds MacKenzie. I think Leo looked strikingly like Spuds MacKenzie in those shades. Note that the key letters R-B-T appear *nowhere* in "Spuds MacKenzie". What could be more obvious? I think Lynch/Frost are trying to tell us that Spuds MacKenzie killed Laura, or perhaps that BOB has the form of a dog. Remember the one-armer says "I saw the face of God and was changed. . ." And what's "God" backwards? DOG!!!!! Could it be that DOG is the evil twin of GOD here??? Of course, this is just my theory, and could be untrue. But I think Spuds MacKenzie did it. Does anyone else think Leo looks like Spuds MacKenzie? Could someone with a VCR please single frame through the entire series for me to see if there are any other clues that Spuds did it? Your TP Pal, Rod ("just started watching Twin Peaks six months ago") Johnson PS. By the way, what *did* that little boy say?!?! PPS. What if R-B-T was supposed to spell out the initials of Rin Tin Tin, but the killer was too clumsy to get all the letters right?? I think this is another clue that the killer is a dog. Dogs are clumsy. PPPS. And their breath is *terrible*! -- Rod Johnson * rjohnson@vela.acs.oakland.edu * (313) 650 2315 "I happen to sweat profusely." -- Ted Kaldis
