Subject: Re: Catharine's angel From: maus@Morgan.COM (Malcolm Austin) Date: 1990-12-17, 09:37 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks Major spoilers if you didn't see the 12/15 episode! Well, we now all know that Catherine's angel was none other than her brother Andrew. But here's a question to open reams of useless speculation: did Catherine know of her brother's non-death before the mill fire? I think not, given the volume of material that would have to be sacrificed to the continuity gods. "Pete, I have no where left to turn!", etc. And here's a question for the legal eagles in the crowd: Andrew Packard was presumably declared dead, allowing Josie to inherit the mill. (This can happen is less than seven years, I believe, even without a body if there is good reason to suspect that death has occurred.) What happens now that he's back? Does he get his mill back? (This is moot, of course, if he is in cahoots with Catherine.) And, still, why did Catherine shell out $5 mil for the mill when she got Ben to sign through blackmail? Are we really to believe that the check was a forgery? -- =============================================================================== Malcolm Austin -- maus@fid.morgan.com #include "disclaimer.h"
