At the end of the first season, Nadine attempted suicide by taking
sleeping pills. She was distraught over the fact she couldn't
find a patent lawyer to interest in a silent drape runner she
has invented. The pills put her into a brief coma; when she 
awoke, she had regressed mentally from being in her mid-thirties
to being a high school senior. God what a horrible fate; going
back to high school. . .:-)
