Confronting the entrant to the black lodge is the dweller
on the threshold. 
 
The basic root definition of "obsession" is 'sitting at the
door'.
I believe that an obsession is created when you are drawn to
the threshold of an experience but for some reason do not
enter fully into it.  I wonder what form Cooper's obsession will
take?
