Hey, I called this one at the time (semi-facetiously, to be sure), suggesting
"Andrew Packard, back from his boat trip" as an alternative to the ongoing 
Pete/Jonathan debate. But I'd bet on it at this point. There was never any
supporting reference to the fact that either Pete or Jonathan were the watcher,
but A.P. probably has nothing better to do than lurk around and peek through
windows at the lodge while everyone thinks he's dead...
