Yes, it's certainly been said, but I sure don't know why. Twin Peaks started out great, as an enthralling mystery, but has degenerated into a 'weird' soap opera. And that's all it is right now. The first four hours were some of the best stuff I've EVER seen on TV. They just couldn't keep up the intensity. With Laura's murder solved, I've found that I have little or no interest in the show. I think you're fooling yourself if you think you have to be intelligent and educated to watch this show. They're just dragging you along like any other soap opera.
