Just to further complicate the discussion of whether or not Mrs. Tremond (the
elderly bedridden one) and her grandson are real or not, in The Secret Diary of
Laura Palmer Laura mentions in one entry that when she delivered a meal to Mrs.
Tremond, her grandson pulled a coin out of Laura's ear.  So if they are visions,
both Laura and Donna saw the same vision.  Personally I don't know what to
believe, and I don't want to speculate, because every time I have speculated
about the show I've been burned.  I just watch the show, I don't understand it.
