I loved the first scene with the major.
 
Why was he seated on a chair in the woodlands?
He was sitting regally (like the tarot card of the
emperor) or like a king. I wonder if he is the 
King of Wands of the tarot deck (the ultimate in
creative and natural energy) or if he could possibly 
be the King in Cooper's chess game. "The King
must die."
