That *was* insulin, > >wasn't it? No, no, Rod. That wasn't insulin, in was *humulin* (the synthetic form of insulin). Remember he made that clear when he told Catherine, and Lola (this was the first we'd seen of her, right?) that Eckerts plan was to acquire the mill, so that he could use it as a cover to manufacture humulin domestically, using the cheap labor of all those unemployed loggers, and therefore ruin all the domestic pharmecutical (sp) company's who produce insulin (i.e. Lilly, Squibb, Bob's Insulin Shop). If that happens, then all of Packards investments in those company's won't be worth pennies! All you guy's who missed this must've been seein' a man about a horse when this happened. I usually wait for the commercials. Otherwise, who knows what you'll miss? BTW: I figured that Andrew was a diabetic when we first saw him a few weeks ago. When he stepped out of the shadows, he had an alcohol swap in his left (or was it right) hand. Also, there was a syringe cap on the desk where Catherine sat. Oh no! I hope that Josie didn't see it! > >-- > > Rod Johnson * rjohnson@vela.acs.oakland.edu * (313) 650 2315 -- ========================================================================== David D.
