Alan J. Snyder gives some excellent suggestions re. writing to ABC,
to which I want to add the following:

If possible print your letter on letterhead paper, and in a dry,
matter-of-fact tone, tell ABC that you make lots of money (name
a figure) and that you're the kind of viewer who likes to spend
your money on the fine things of life (fancy cars, whatever).
Also, that you watch very attentively, glued to your set.

In other words: give ABC some letters to show to the sponsors
of the show.
