What about that time at the Roadhouse when EVERYONE disappeared and the Giant appeared and said "It is happening again"? Were all the random people in the Roadhouse host to the Giant? (Wait a minute, maybe it was just the band that disappeared, and the customers all froze. I can't remember. Anyway, the point remains the same.) Personally, I think that the people are only disappearing from Coop's point of view. Certainly they don't have any memory of having disappeared when they return! The question is what happens from THEIR point of view? Does Coop disappear? Does Coop freeze? Or do things just proceed normally? I suppose it could depend on whether the manifestations are mental or physical. Although even if they were physical, maybe Coop is transported to a place where time flows much faster, so no time elapses when he returns.
