Subject: More on the ultimate Twin Peaks experience From: emmanuel@well.sf.ca.us (Emmanuel Goldstein) Date: 1991-03-05, 01:20 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks,rec.arts.tv couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that I was going to start watching Twin Peaks in real time, seeing each episode on the DAY that it was intended to take place on. I've been doing this for four days now and I find it to be very enlightening. Today (Monday) I witnessed Laura's funeral. Albert and his team arrived yesterday, cousin Maddy arrived today. You don't realize it watching from week to week but there is a real pace to this show. I've been trying to keep track of where everybody is at what time. The only inconsistency I've seen so far is Catherine asking her husband yesterday (Sunday) what that FBI man wanted "today". Of course, the FBI man had been there the previous day (Saturday). I suspect they filmed that scene before realizing it was going to go in a different episode. I heartily recommend seeing the show this way especially now that it's that time of year (late February, early March). You can even start this Friday and get a sense of the flow. The timeline posted in alt.tv.twin-peaks is especially valuable for this. emmanuel@well.sf.ca.us :
