Subject: Twin Peaks spoof on 'Anything But Love' episode last night (3/13) From: long-morrow@CS.Yale.EDU (H. Morrow Long) Date: 1991-03-14, 08:53 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks Did anyone else see the parody of Twin Peaks during part of the 'Anything But Love' episode last night (3/13 - it is part of the much hyped morning after the two main characters finally consummate their relationship, libidos, etc.). Short summary: 'What I always want to know is: "Was it good for me?"' I don't watch the show (of course), but it was on and I turned to it when I heard the TP theme. Richard Lewis and Jamie Lee Curtis were discussing whether people at the magazine office would notice the difference in them now that they had 'done it'. Richard Lewis went into a fantasy sequence where he was Agent Cooper, Jamie Lee Curtis was Audrey, their boss was both Nadine (with the curtains) and the Log Lady (my log wants to know when you'll have this article done). Ms. Schmenkman (?) was Laura (in dead mode). The boss's flunky was Dr. Jacoby and there were a few other characters I believe. Sort of like the end of the Wizard of OZ when Dorothy wakes up and Ray Bolger and other neighbors (who look just like OZian characters) are looking in on her thru the open window. - Its deja vu all over again Morrow -- H.
