I just saw Alfred Hitchcock's original "Psycho" and
noticed several parallels to TP.

(Decades old Psycho Spoilers follow???)


ANYWAY:

Laura was wrapped in plastic just as was the girl in Psycho

The $10,000 in drug money of Laura's and the $40,000 the the Psycho
woman stole.

The multiple stab wounds in LP and the girl in Psycho.

The resemblence of Norman/Mother to Leland/BOB

The stuffed OWL and Minah Bird? in the parlor at the Bates.

The resemblence of Bates Motel to the Cabin in the woods where
Laura was with the guys.

The Secret Diary of LP and the girl's Registration signature at the
Bates Motel.

The resemblence of the James to the boyfriend in Psycho.

Both dead bodies sumerged.

The fact that the Psycho girl looked just like her sister compared
to Laura and Maddy.

The fact that there was limited violence in this small town when
talking to the deputy sheriff.

It's like Lynch/Frost/et al took Psycho town and filled in all
of the gaps.  Hmmmm....
