Wonderful exposition of the whole BL/WL "battle." You people are to be
congratulated! I have a couple of thoughts, though.
--If the "Owls are not what them seem," and they SEEM to be acting/
flying for the forces of evil, couldn't they be actually harbingers
of good? or at least wisdom? Anyone notice Windom and "wisdom" have only
one letter different? If the cosmic chess game between Coop and WE was
so symbolic, how did we get our metaphors so mixed up that we need FOUR
queens to be complete? About the shaking hands...didn't Mike say say
something earlier about having to cut off his arm to be free of the
evil (BOB-type)? If so, and this goes along with what several of you were
saying, does the fact that all these people having shaking right hands
portend >some< sort of possible possession? In the Judeo-Christian
mythos we are instructed, "If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off",
are we not? Also, didn't one of the Judeo-Christian mythic characters
act as "the right hand of God"? What could all this mean in TP? About
black vs. white, many of you have said what I believe, and what much
of the Eastern mythos believes: that there is no inherent GOOD or BAD,
but rather, like the God of the Old Testament, and like the Tree of
the Knowledge of Good and Evil, there is only one sphere, turning to
show or conceal its other side. Knowledge/wisdom IS. That's all. It
isn't good or bad, it just IS. Perhaps all the talk about the "dark
side of the moon" and eclipses is saying something about not only
the duality of everything, but also about the singularity/universality/
at-one-ment of everything? 

Just some thoughts that have been brewing. Now it's your turn.
