Two things about the OAM:
  1) Earle looked an AWFUL lot like Gerard in the scene with
     the Major.  Especially with that black turtleneck and
     the hair.  I wouldn't have noticed except I re-watched
     1000 and 1001 last night.
  2) Maybe the OAM decided not to return to the black lodge
     once he saw the "face of God" and is now sort of
     roaming.
