Could be.  Did you notice how he appeared to be forcing his way into
existence?  His arm appeared first, then the rest of him.  Like he was
pushing himself through a portal between worlds...

And what about those red curtains reflected in the puddle?

I think that as various people get closer to the secret, the power of the
Lodges is increasing in anticipation of direct contact.  Maybe the people
whose hands are shaking are going to be drawn to one lodge or another to
take part in the confrontation.  Or maybe they've even been there once
before and we just haven't seen the scars yet.  Major Briggs seemed to be
feeling his scar just before Windom appeared.  And among real-life UFO
abductees, there's often a feeling of being "programmed" to take part in
some future event.  Maybe the "shakes" are a symptom that the program is
being triggered.
