Subject: TP Astrology! From: rdees@umiami.ir.miami.edu (Matthion) Date: 1991-04-21, 15:55 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks Please route all correspondence to the address below. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: TP Astrology Yo Peakers, A couple of words on the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction from Simon, your friendly, neighborhood astrologer. In our world, the last conjunctions between them occured in late 1980 through mid 1981. (There were actually three exact conjunctions then due to the retrograde motion of both planets.) The next will not occur until the end of May 2000. This does not correspond with any TP time frame, but who ever said it should? The meaning of this aspect is generally one of conflict between the expansive Jovian energies and Saturn's contracting ones. A pair of opposites if there ever was one. This does correspond nicely to the WL/BL dichotomy, if you use the traditional good/ bad astrological interpretations of the planets. (Most modern astrologers use a more 'humanistic' interpretation that avoids words like 'good', 'bad' and 'fate'.) IMHO, all this stuff means something only if Lynch has a full time astrologer on the staff (I wouldn't put it past him) or is married to one or something. Yea, I couldn't come up with another conjunction that captured the idea of opposites as well as the Jupiter/Saturn one, but you'd have to be really into the subject to be able to know why. I must admit that it looks really well planned to me, but that is only 'cause I am used to looking for such things. I'd probably chalk this one up to good ol' Synchronicity and say that Lynch (or whoever was responsible for the choice) just happened to (signifcantly?) get lucky. BTW, if it took seven or eight men to get the chess piece off the gazebo, how did WE get it up there with only himself and Leo to help? Maybe Nadine has more secrets than the ones that Mike found out *8.) ? God Over Djinn (but maybe not a good cup o'joe!) In fact if they knew I was an astrologer, they'd probably have me 'disappeared'. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bradford Ward Holcombe | Cogito, ergo, pernicio Electrical Engineering | {I think, therefore, I am dangerous} University of Virginia | Thornton Hall C242 | Back off man....I'm a scientist.
