Subject: RS... My thoughts on next episode (the Save Audrey Horne campaign!) From: sjsmith@tulgey.cs.umd.edu (Stephen Joseph Smith) Date: 1991-04-25, 11:27 Newsgroups: alt.tv.twin-peaks AUDREY HORNE IS IN TERRIBLE DANGER! The hand-shaking was, as speculated, BOB's attempt to enter hosts. The woman in the diner resisted. Coop resisted, of course. The last hand to shake was... Pete Martell's! BOB is now in Pete! and Tawdry Audrey is with him! Alone! At Pearl Lakes, Center of Evil! Now he can REALLY say... "She's dead. Wrapped in plastic." Where is MIKE? MIKE has taken the incredible risk of taking the host of... Ben Horne! Evidence: Last hand to shake was Pete's - BOB was successful (third time's the charm). Pete saw Josie in the wood, an unusual happening for the usually non- supernatural guy that he is. Audrey and Pete are going to Pearl Lakes, not a nice place, in general. Ben Horne turned around in shock at... Josie in the wooden wall of the Great Northern! Ben Horne is trying to be good, i.e. truthful, with Donna, much as it upsets Eileen. Coop and J. J. Wheeler discussing Audrey and Annie in front of the fire - signifying great evil involvement in the lives of Audrey and Annie soon. Other thoughts: Annie - A mystery. Could be evil, sent to distract Cooper from his duty of rescuing Audrey. Could be totally peripheral, but coincidentally acting for the bad guys. I'm going to have to guess the former. Audrey - Not as easy a victim as Bob might think! The Giant - As before, getting weaker... and weaker... Major Briggs - Said "come in" to MIKE, but MIKE saw he was useless tied up and stayed in Ben Horne (maybe?). Windom Earle - Just a bad guy, possibly once inhabited by BOB, in Pittsburgh, but he's now got an extra `e' and is no longer the `Owl in Dream' that the anagram of his name suggests. Lana - Just there to add confusion. Shelly - There to win the beauty contest and get Windom Earle out of the way by being saved by... Leo! Donna - Gosh, she's got to look happier. The past several episodes she's had this really grim, everybody is lying to me, I don't know who my father is, plus Windom Earle tried to kill me, also I've lost my place as most-attractive- woman-in-Twin-Peaks because of this stupid look which isn't making me any happier, expression on her face. Jupiter/Saturn conjunction and the whole 20 years thing: Seems to be very consistent within itself (Nadine's regression/birth of Audrey, Laura, Maddie, and especially Donna/etc.) but doens't fit in particularly with anything else. I'm undecided. One man's thoughts... -=+=- Stephen Joseph Smith
